What We Are About

dog_grooming_cocker_headNo one has been in business longer nor has more experience than Bob. There are too many grooming places who have only one style of grooming...stripping the dog almost bald. Maybe it's time to try someone different.
  • Small breed dog grooming at it’s best by the best.
  • Bob is the Owner/Groomer has been in business for over 50 years. (he started early)
  • No second hand employees - your dog always gets handled by only Bob.
  • No muzzles - no tranquilizers. Highly recommended by area vets for the best in care.
Does your dog come home from the groomer traumatized? Are they hiding under the bed when you get home? These are the stories we hear. If your dog isn't happy when he/she comes home from the groomers, then you need a new groomer. It takes 2 hours to groom a dog, not the 4 hours that too many salons tell you. That’s because they are doing the assembly line system where they are not only doing multiple dogs at the same time but setting them aside to dry while they work on another dog. Bob starts and finishes your dog with personal attention. Dogs are brushed and blown dried and not left to sit and just air dry. Have you been gouged by other salons who start with a base price and then keep charging you for all these mysterious extra services? We've heard horror stories from pet owners who have ended up with grooming bills in the hundreds of dollars because they were charged an extra $10 for this and $20 for that. Charges for Day care if the dog isn't picked up as soon as it is done. Unbelievably, one woman told us she was charged an extra $40 because her dog wouldn't stand still. Are you kidding ?!?! Dogs are dogs and puppies jump around, it's part of the job. Bob charges $45 flat (small dogs). that includes everything.....bath, grooming, nails, anal glands and ears. Full coated dogs (at your request - like a cocker) might be a few extra dollars but never $20+ dollars. dog_grooming_poodle_apricot2Early morning & evening appointments If you wish, you can drop your dog off on the way to work and pick them up on the way home. There is no charge for "day care" if the dog is in for grooming. They are welcome to spend the day with us.
